i started my child psych today
hehe it was a dy full with mischievous kids
one had the urge to go back home
bcos he wants to quickly finish his project
of making a giant slingshot
at the end of the session his mum asked him what
he's gonna do with that thing n he replied
with a grin-his baby brother hahaha
but one thing i realize
most of the cases involve family members
the consultant seems to b very familiar with certain
family names, she could recall treating other members of
the family etc, she's a very pleasant lady :D
oh n i got my 3rd case!!! :)

today the kids mostly have AD/HD
but i only saw two kids who showed their ADHD
symptoms n that was during the bp/wt/ht measuring
i.e when the consultant, their mummy weren't around
they bcame quite aggressive
jumping around from one thing to another
that attracted them (hyperactivity),
they couldnt concentrate (inattention),
n yes it could b very dangerous with
a baby in the house n not to mention
to themselves,one of the core symptoms is impulsivity
of which they act on impulse ; )
